Celebrating Two Years : A Monroe, MI Family Photography Journey

One of my greatest joys as a family photographer is building lasting relationships with the families I photograph. I’ve had the privilege of documenting so many beautiful milestones for Blair and her parents — from maternity, to newborn snuggles, to her first birthday cake smash, and now her 2nd birthday portraits. Watching her grow has been such a gift, and each session feels like catching up with old friends rather than meeting for work.

Looking back, I still remember our first session together for their maternity photos — the excitement in the air was contagious. Then came the sweet, sleepy newborn stage, followed by a bubbly 1-year-old discovering the world. Now, here we are at two years old, and it’s incredible to see how much she’s grown while keeping that same sparkle in her eyes.
